Our transportation planners and engineers are experienced in
traffic impact studies, corridor studies, roadway design, traffic
data collection, and comprehensive planning. We develop innovative
but workable solutions to meet the transportation needs of the
communities we serve. We have the technical skill, the resources,
and the creative minds to deliver solutions to complex transportation
challenges.
Moore Bass draws on a wealth of personnel with
experience applicable to what our clients need
in transportation planning. Two people key to
our offerings in this area are Keith Burnsed,
A.I.C.P., and David E. Smith, P.E., P.S.M.
Mr. Burnsed, lead of our Transportation Planning Division, has
extensive project management experience in the broad variety
of transportation planning and analysis areas noted above, and
in addition is adept at leading public information meetings as
a part of a comprehensive, multi-discipline offering. His creativity
and experience help find the most functional and cost-effective
solution for each transportation challenge.
Mr. Smith has notable roadway/transportation experience including
geometric design, culvert and storm sewer design, intersection
and signal design, R.O.W. acquisition, quantity estimation, and
permitting. Additionally, he has worked both with and for local
municipalities on roadway projects and transportation planning
studies.
