GIS Services Moore Bass provides assistance to government agencies and utility companies by providing Geographic Information System (GIS) support. We are also experienced in GIS data collection for stormwater, water distribution, utility distribution and sanitary sewer inventory projects.

Boundary Surveys Vital to any construction project or land sale transaction is the accurate location and documentation of property boundaries developed by a professional surveyor. Boundary Surveys which locate and establish lines between legal estates also reveal potential problems including encroachments, right-of-way issues, and gaps and gores between adjacent parcels.

Topographic Surveys The successful planning and engineering of any land development relies on quality topographic data. Civil Engineers and Landscape Architects use survey data depicting land elevation to develop their design solutions for the site. Accuracy of the topographic surveys and base maps are essential for the development of designs that respond to real site conditions.

ALTA ACSM Land Title Surveys We are qualified and equipped to meet all the specifications of an ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey. The ALTA/ACSM Surveys are held to a higher standard than a standard boundary survey and addresses additional issues such as reviewing the title commitments, depicting current zoning conditions, and providing redundant measurements between boundary corners.

Aerial Mapping Coordination We provide full coordination of all aerial mapping needs. This includes color digital orthometric photos, cost effective aerial topographic mapping, and black and white photos for planning purposes. The survey team and mapping partners use only the best equipment including LIDAR measurement devices, airborne GPS, and RTK survey grade equipment during the mapping process.

Construction Layout We are involved in all aspects of construction layout. We provide complete construction layout services for residential and commercial development projects. Stake-out activities include slope staking roadways, storm and sanitary sewer layout, and structural column line locations. Our layout teams provide clients with reliable accuracy, immediate service, and competitive rates.

Cellular Tower Surveys We prepare surveys for telecommunication tower sites. We provide topographic surveys, boundary plats, latitude and longitude for the sites meeting FAA requirements, and legal descriptions for future easements and lease areas.

Homebuilder’s Service We offer a number of services designed to support homebuilders. Our office-based surveying staff prepares site plans and building pad layouts, while our field surveyors prepare foundation location surveys and FHA required final mortgage loan surveys.
